I'm using the unstable dosbox debian package.
and get "Can't open dir capture for capturing Screenshot" when pressing ctrl-F5.

I set snapdir in my conffile to a existing and writable dir.
I'm pretty sure my conffile is read by dosbox.
Made a test as root too (same error).

is there something more to do to be able to save screenshots?
