European Air War, it has a lot of mods and still has its fans on SimHq, another good one is Fighter Squadron by Parsoft.

You might want to look at IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 and Battle of Brittain 2: WoV, but these have quite high sysreqs.

I also liked Jane's Attack Squadron despite it's weak points.
