My disc is bad like the title says. Has a pretty decent gouge: http://i.imgur.com/oDCK53K.png

Can't complete an install in pure DOS and can't get a good BIN/CUE rip. Can anyone provide me with a good BIN/CUE image of this disc? I've got the Retail Netmech version, the "best" version of the game according to mech2.org: http://mech2.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=281

Thanks for any help.

Depending on where you live most larger cities have at least one or two places that will resurface CDs, DVDs, etc. I do it all the time and it usually is cheaper than $3 a disc. The one I go to in the Seattle area does a first pass of stripping a very thin layer off and if the scratch is really bad the same machine can do a light sanding\polishing job on the surface which usually does the trick on the bad scratches. Look for a retro game shop with a resurfacing machine in your area would be my first go at it.

I'll look into it but don't think resurfacing will work here. You can definitely see through the disc if you hold it up to the light so I think it's screwed.

Ouch! Yeah. Nevermind then if it has a hole. I had a Future Cop LAPD PC game disc like that on the outer edges and it was toast. Oh well. You can't fix that kind of data loss.

I am glad you found it, now if someone would send me the 3.5 inch disk image of a robot fighting game I have that contains 14 disks 🤣. All 13 work except for disk 2, and who ever heard of a 14 disk game anyway - crazy 🤣.
