What are the differences between the MT-32 (old) rev. 0 and the MT-32 (old) rev. 1?

As far as I know they differ in the LA32 chip packaging, but are there any differences with games?

Thank you for your video and dedication Phil. I knew about your video and saw it a couple of times, and even now again some bits, but there's no reference to the MT-32 old rev1.

I'm trying to find information about the MT-32 old rev1 (that is not the same as the MT-32-new that you reviewed).

Maybe the Wikipedia page will be helpful: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roland_MT-32

MT-32 with revision 0 PCB, used in units up to serial number 851399.

The PGA LA32 chip is later replaced with a 100-pin QFP type.

I already mentioned this.

Cheers.

How games sound (in terms of the quality of the samples, vibrato effect, etc.), I would say no.
How the different revisions of the MT-32 modules behave, that will vary depending on what PCB revision and control ROM version you have (the latter being of more importance).
