What version of DOSBox are you using?
Your post is too vague. Please post more details. 😐
Intel i7 5960X
Gigabye GA-X99-Gaming 5
8 GB DDR4 (2100)
8 GB GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (Gigabyte)
It basically means your program didn't find DPMI, which is nothing to worry about. Download CWSDPMI (google is your friend) and put it into the same directory. Play with it a little, you will manage to get it running with a bit of fiddling around.
Oh yeah, I forgot that DOSBox doesn't provide DPMI any more.
just like a real dos pc.

ms-dos (and dr-dos, for that matter) emm386 did provide dpmi, didn't it?
I think it's really time to have an official utilities pack for dosbox, including all 3rd-party programs any dosbox user needs somewhen, dos32a, cwsdpmi, perhaps others?
em386 didn't provide dpmi as far as I know.
only vcpi
but i can be wrong on this

I am pretty sure QBix is right. EMM just provided VCPI support. On the other hand, QEMM386 has its own built-in dpmi services program.

The only widespread DPMI providers that I've been aware of are Win9x/ME and CWSDPMI.
I remember Daggerfall was able to use it, so whatever DOS extender it used may have provided it when not already available too.
