Quake/Half-Life - OpenGL wrapper with no direct support.
I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.

Yes, Quake and Half-Life aren't "3dfx native". They are opengl.
They are listed as "supports glide" because the game can force 3dfx icd. Or the game is supported by 3dfx minigl. Both are opengl->3dfx wrappers.

Radeon HD3850 Agp (Sapphire), Catalyst 14.4 (XpProSp3).
Voodoo2 12 MB SLI, Win2k drivers 1.02.00 (XpProSp3).
MiniGL also only exposes a subset of OpenGL which is well aligned with GLIDE instructions, so saying it's a wrapper is not the complete story.
All hail the Great Capacitor Brand Finder
if i recall unreal games was on of the few exceptions, although one could say it doesn't have open GL support, it was so bad at launch most could not even use it.
more often then not a Open GL/glide game would use miniGL or a wrapper or something like that.
DX/glide is more common.
