hi!

when i try to start the game i get the dos4gw-message and one minute later dosbox crashes. 😵
"texture1.nbd" which is in the cap-dir is shown and nothing more happens...

does some1 have an idea to solve this?

the computer should be fast enough, it's a P4 2.8 GHz with 2GB ram, geforce 5950ultra. dosbox is using the standard-configuration...

thanx for any help,
joe

Use DOS32A and dynamic core.

Yes, it’s my fault.

hello!

thanx for your help.
i have changed the dosbox config to dynamic-core and installed DOS32A.
i have exchanged the dos4gw.exe in the cap-dir with the dos32a.exe and renamed it. i think that worked...

but now, when i start cap, i get the following error-message:

bitmaps\texture1.nbdDOS/32A warning (9003): real mode interrupt vector had been modified: INT 08h

C:\CAP>

and dosbox crashes...
i think i still need some help... 😉
joe

[Edit: no need to post an image of that error, it's not particularly long]

@Snover: thanx, i'll work this through and try to figure out why cap doesn't load...

@HunterZ: yes, u r right. it's an info-message. it's a little bit hard for me, because i'm using DOS32A for the 1st time...

Actually I wasn't seeing the quote box in your post, which I think was a problem with my computer at work.

Glad you got it working.
