I'm having trouble running KQ6 with dosbox. I am fairly inept with computers and have mounted my KQ6 directory but when I try running the program it says it needs windows. Any help would be appreciated.

it will not work in windows, it crashes before it even begins to play. I've tried changing the settings to 256 colors 640x800 resolution etc... but nothing works

Obviously running a WINDOWS program in a DOS emulator
does not work as well.

KQ6 works in both DOS and Windows. However, when you start the game in DOS, you should use a different executable (SIERRA.EXE instead of SCIWV.EXE).
