I'm looking for sound fonts/patches in the .94B format.

Biggest GM one I have been able to find is 9MB.

I'm guessing that there are bigger ones out there but I can't seem to find any.

Even the bank collection on vogonsdrivers only has the 9MB one.
http://www.vogonsdrivers.com/getfile.php?fileid=144

I can also use in these formats with converters.
TTS
DMF
DLS

Just having trouble finding any.

Converted sf2 to tts with a tool from one of the EWS64-Terratec-CDs.
Original is from deemster, "AWE64 Gold Presets" see here Soundfonts that mimic old hardware (SC-55, DX50XG, AWE64 Gold)
It did load and sounds played, but I haven't tested it any further for accuracy.

I want to know this as well. That would open up a huge number of things to convert to .94B

Edit: Did some searching and it looks like Ed!son 1.9 might possibly be able to do it with some limitations.

Trying to track down some other software that can supposedly do it as well.. just not finding actual working links.

Edit 2: I may have just found 1/2 of what is needed.. and I saw the other piece a few days ago. Hope I bookmarked that page but will have to check later once I verify the 12GB download I am doing contains what I am looking for.

It's on the "EdSon_driver_soft" image, wich I found on your FTP server.
D:\HotStuff.!!!\SoundFont2TTS\sf.exe
The functionality is very limited, it crashes with many soundfonts and it seems only some small files can be converted.

Thanks, I will give this also a try.
The 94Bs from the converter from the maxi sound 64 series can only be loaded with the maxi sound. However the converter tool there is also in quite an beta stage.

Anybody have Maxi Bankmapper 2.0 ? It was freeware and supposedly the source was available as well.

I have only been able to find the compiled version 1.0.

It is supposed to maybe help with conversion.

I have a Maxi Bankmapper here and also a few source files: ftp://retronn.de/driver/Guillemot/MaxiSound64HomeStudio/
Though I have not checked which version it is.
There seem to be as well source files in the Techsupport subfolder of the former Guillemot ftp for the Dynamic3D: ftp://retronn.de/driver/guillemot_ftp/sound/T … ort/Dynamic_3D/

From what I could tell base don file size yours is version 1.0.

I'm also trying to track down a copy of Synoptic Samplelink 2.3 which is supposedly supposed to be able to convert as well. But of course the company is no longer around and I can't even find a demo download.

@cyclone3d: I had been at this point as well and could not track down a source.

Here is another option that I saw mentioned:

1. Use AWAVE to convert SF2 to DLS
2. Use dlsread to convert DLS to 94B

Edit: Also looks like a program called Audio Compositor may be able to do the conversion. Will have to try to track down a download for it as that company is no longer around either.

Edit 2: Audio compositor can open and save in SF2, DLS1, DLS2 and DLS1+2 formats.

This looks promising. I will not be able to test until my card arrives though to see if I will be able to successfully convert from SF2 -> DLS -> 94B.

This program has not been for sale for at least 15 years and the person who made it is no longer contactable from what I could find.

I have written a bit about it in 2016 here: Re: Guillemot Maxi Sound home studio 64 pro - no music in pure DOS
I used AWAVE to convert from SF2 to DLS1.
