Hi,
I have an Asus P3B-F and it recently has stopped posting. At one point I did get it to post but it claimed the ROM Checksum was bad, said to insert disk and press a key but even pressing a key on the keyboard won't work. It won't even get that far anymore and I know I could probably get an eeprom burner and the proper IC and reflash but I figure now is a good time to look at other options.
I want a motherboard that will support ISA and the older AGP spec. I want to be able to run a GUS and Voodoo 5 5500 AGP in the same machine in addition to having P3 800mhz or above capability.
Before the board went kaput I was running a 1.0GHz 100mhz FSB P3 in a slotket @ 1.2GHz and it was working fine.
Beyond the ASUS P3B-F are there other options?
