This game somehow prevents the usage of alt-tab when in window mode and I find it to be very annoying, sometimes I want to take a short break from the game to browse the web or read a chatroom I currently have open, but without alt-tab's function it's just not possible.

I don't want to have to close the game every time I want to do something else, is there any solution to this problem?

I just don't understand why this game of all ID Tech 3 engine games won't let me alt-tab out of it, while every other game of the same engine allows me to.
