Standard 1993 AST VGA 14" 640x480@60hz monitor. I've seen the same model rebranded as 3 other brands. LGR got one under the Imagetron brand a while back IIRC.

I do like your touch of submitting a photo taken of your monitor. Makes it more tangible. Unfortunately, I've lost the disks to this game (I do still have the manual though), so I had to resort to finding a screenshot on the webs.

I thought so too when I bought it. I was wrong. 🤣. It was one of those impulse purchases because of great box art. Hint: the box art uses the same colors as the screenshot.

Unlike the last game in this thread which I said had "good music", this one actually HAS good music.

Blind guess: That Asteroids game that Activision put on CD back in the late 90s?

Edit: http://www.qvc.com/Asteroids-CD-ROM-for-Windo … uct.E81900.html that one.

Nope. It was on many CDs (this was a "shareware compilation" staple), but AFAIK Activision had nothing to do with it.

^^ Yo. A lovely example of "title makes no sense in terms of the game" (where are the ridges, in space ?!)
