Running Qbasic for DOS or QuickBASIC 4.5 can't be stopped when runned and will not break/stop with the hotkey combination <Ctrl>+<Pause>.
In the regular DOS version, this problem does not occur. Somehow the keyboard controls are bocked in DOSBox.

This is a bug in DOSBox version 0.74.

That's just an IDE, why not run it in a VM?
They generally support games more than utilities. Quick Basic "everything seems fine" not thorough: http://www.dosbox.com/wiki/Software

Ctrl-ScrollLock is also a break, which is the key combo on XT-style keyboards, and that works in DOSBox.
