I'm very comfortable with Minitab but I can't seem to see any old versions laying around, nor do they appear to be free. I was just wondering if there were any decent substitutes that utilize the FPU maybe and are Excel friendly (ie. can import spreadsheet cells easily). Would be nice to be able to do a six-pack analysis or a capability study 😀

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Maybe an old version of r could be ported comfortably.

You just google r man. Another option is to write your own software really. Unless you're doing advanced analysis, the equations tend to be manageable and freely available.

You know... never in a million years would I have thought to do that - I mean googling a letter of the alphabet and getting some obscure stats software back, but lo and behold, you put me to shame, as it's the first hit. How the hell did the letter R lose out to that program?
