Thought I would show off my Windows 98 gaming build.

Specs:
Asus P2b Motherboard
Pentium 450 w/ MMX
400mb Ram
Voodoo3 3000 AGP Graphics Card
Soundblaster Live! Plantinum 5.1 SB0060 w/ Front Panel Live Drive
5.25Chinon Floppy
3.5 floppy
GoTek Floppy Emulator
Creative 52x Cd Rom

I got the case brand new and still in the original box. I do love desktops! I have both floppys as well as the GoTek because I still love using real floppy disks. Only the 3.5 stays hooked up. I swap to the 5.25 floppy when I need to.

This build will go great with my IBM Aptiva desktop with a Pentium 166mhz w/ MMX, 128mb ram and a voodoo2.
Here's a link to my Youtube where I put it together. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrPAJ8 … G1Lv_f_Muy7FhXl

I agree with everyone else who replied, that's a really nice build. I like how you have a Gotek in tandem with two other floppy drives (3.5" and 5.25"), I also like the use of case badges/stickers on the front panel which is something I do with every build when applicable (I'd like to get a 3dfx sticker someday, my V2 rig could use one of those).

That must be the first time I've seen a LiveDrive in a desktop case, makes it look "professional"
Although I would have put the 2 creative devices together 😉

Sweet build! Where'd you get the case from?

^Thank you! I got the case brand new in box off ebay. There's a seller that had a bunch of new old stock cases. Only one of this model though. I picked it because it has as much room as most tower and more than some others.

Very nice looking build! What is the "interex" box under the monitor?

You need to get those Roland speakers in beige version 😎

^Thanks! The interex box is a surge protector with switches for each device plugged in. I have one for each of my vintage pcs. It has a switch to power, monitor, pc, and two other devices and a main switch for them all. I feel safer with vintage stuff when all power is cut from them when I'm not home. On the rear is 4 plugs for the devices that are switched on the front and one always on plug. So I can plug 5 total things into it.

I picked the black roland speakers since the roland sc-50 is black. Plus the beige ones are a lot more expensive it seems.

^Thanks man! I got the case badges off ebay from a seller in Austrailia since he had white and also black ones. There's a seller in US who has black ones though.

^Yea I may end up putting the cd rom one down for aesthetics. I do like the live drives alot. Really makes the front of the pc pop!

Found a better fitting monitor for this pc. It looks a lot better aesthetically and in games.
