so ive Been watching philscomputerlab videos specifically running ms dos mode in windows 98 se, on my asus a7v133.
In the bios there is an option to emulate soundblaster 16, I can run build games from windows and get sound and music but when i restart in dos mode and run the game i have no sound or music. Would i have to get sb 16 drivers and install them while in dos mode? or create a batch file like phil was saying in the video?(didn't think this applied to me since i wasn't using a sound card)
i have some sound cards, but there isn't any room left for one.
any help would be appreciated (=

Try SB PCI driver. The file name includes sbinit, sblegacy....

You could download the driver from Internet by search SB PCI 128.

Hope that can solve your question

I might actually have it, will give it a shot and post my results

That's only useful if you got a Sound Blaster PCI card, if you're trying to use the onboard sound supplied by the VIA 686 southbridge you should have a look at the link in my post.
