I have an MT-32 old and I mainly still use my SC-55 mkII for games. Keep this sc55!

No GS, no MT-32. It's a neat little unit (have one myself) but it's stripped down to the very basic GM functionality.

SC-7 is like the SCC-1 (non A) synth in a box.

Right you are.

I must have been thinking of Roland bundles with the SCB-7 on board. Even the synth on the RAP-10 is a little bit different.

^ nope, the SCC-1s (both versions) are like SC-55-on-a-card, they offer both GS and MT-32 functionality

Is this why when I use that in a game that supports the SCC-1 it sounds the same between both my MT-32 and the MT-200?
