I am working on getting my 486 build working.
The motherboard is a PC-Chips M912 v1.4.
CPU is an Intel Overdrive DX4-75.
If I have the external cache enabled in the BIOS, it will not get past the initial boot screen after detecting the hard drive.
The cache jumpers are set to what they were when I got the board which is also the setting shown in the picture included with the only instructions I could find for the board.
Does this sound like bad cache or maybe the jumpers are set wrong? I was unable to find any information on how to set the cache jumpers for different cache amounts, so no idea what it is actually set to.
