Hi.

I have a special problem.

I want to take screenshots, but not with pressing CTRL+F5. Because if I press any key, the game disappear the presentation screen, and goes to menu. I dont have time to take it. Is there any way to take screenshot by another way, for example the right-clicking of mouse? 😦

Well pause the game (pause key) and make a screenshot
with your host OS (shift-print or something like that on
windows).
Might work best when dosbox runs in a window and not
in fullscreen.

...damn qbix was even faster...
but you cheated, you wrote much less text 😉

And it cant be paused...

Alt+PrintScreen is the Windows combo for taking screenshots of just the active program window. PrintScreen by itself will capture the whole screen (or multiple screens if you have more than one).

Well it can. Dosbox does not deliver the pause key
to the application (at least not in ver0.63) so you
can pause any game at any time as you like.

Yes, you maybe right! But the screen shoting like this isnt good 🙁 the result screen not as good as I excepted! 🙁 The picture-form is good, but the paletta may go wrong. The result screen is funny a little.

change the screenshot key in the mapper to plain f5
then you don't need to press control and the f5 key isn't send to the application

Hm, don't know what you expect it to look like, but at least
the palette should be the same.
Try to change the colour depth of your host OS (use 16 bit
or 32 bit) and maybe try to insert the screenshot into a
different imaging application (photoshop should work fine
for windows/mac).

Ok, finally Qbix's advise will be accepted 😀. Thanx all helping. The DOS games never die.

By the way, I use 32 bit coluor-depth.

really ? hmm weird. Then you have to bind it to the pause key.
That one is certainly not send as many people complain about that.
