Game ran fine up until after a race when it went back to the options screen it froze - music playing in a loop, no keyboard or mouse, had to do a hard boot. Using a V2 sli with latest ref. drivers & DX7.

Tried switching over to my GF3 and it ran no problem but it didn't look as good.

Should I try that modern patch that's out there or the V3 update?

There's a patch for Voodoo 2 cards. Did you install that? Otherwise, the modern patch will help, too.

Looked at the V2 patch but it's for the Fast Voodoo drivers, I'm running latest ref. drivers so that's no go.

Tried modern patch and so far no problems. This seems to be a very "sketchy" game, maybe need to try the next iteration of the series.
