I have an old 486 with an ISA SB16. I installed the PnP manager and drivers and everything works. IRQ5, DMA1+5. Checked BIOS, all are unused.

Now when Windows starts the pointer shoots off to the bottom left corner of the screen 😖

Hmm that shouldn't happen. What kind of mouse is it? PS/2, serial, etc. Which DOS mouse driver are you using? (Really suggest CuteMouse). Share your AUTOEXEC.BAT + CONFIG.SYS here. Also go to Windows setup from DOS and change your mouse settings there if necessary.

It's a PS/2. It's an OEM Olivetti PCS/44 with OEM mouse and the drivers that came with the system.

I'll try and get the autoexec/config off it and post it up.
