Hi,
i found photo od the interesting old MB Asus P3A:
Aladdin TNT2 chipset with separate graphic (frame buffer) memory.
Full ATX
Slot 1, not Socket 370
Yamaha XG sound
Much better compared to low-end MB like PCHCIPS M754LMR.

MB was previewed at Comdex fall 1999. But was released?

I'd say unreleased, only hits on google for it are for Vogons to this thread. I'd imagine they scrapped it and went with the socket 370 variant as by 99 slot 1 was a dying interface with the rise of the coppermine

Interesting. Definitely never seen anything like that in the wild.

With the fancy printing on the chipset and the big XG logo sound chip, it certainly has a lot of retro collector appeal. If any of those boards exist I think they'd be worth a bazillion dollars on eBay for no logical reason... 🤣

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.
