Very, very similar.
EGA Mode 0Fh - 640x350 mono
Hercules - max 720×350 (720×348 in practice)
So about 10% more pixels on X axis, I don't think it would do much difference, especially given that very few games did use full resolution on either card. Perhaps SimCity or Lemmings would be a little more sharp, but that's all.
This time - coupled with my new Rolant MT-32 for best sound and some Gravis analog joystick I found on the carboot sale last weekend. Roland sits on Polish computer magazines from 86-90 period!
I was messing with the hard drive a bit. It had some faults but I made to rapair it with SpinRite 2.0 - excellent piece of software!
