I have two working RAMs now, thanks.
But now I can't get my 8GB CF Card to work. The bios recognises the hard disk but as soon I format the partition, it doesn't boot from the floppy anymore. Any clues?

Does it hang or does it show that no OS was found? In the later case, boot order might be wrong and it tries to boot from the formatted partition.
It says "Booting from Floppy Disk" but then nothing happens. Well, it loads forever.
When I delete all the partitions, everything works normal again and the floppy boots up.

Wipe the card and boot from MS-DOS disk 1. Let MS-DOS create the partition. It will reboot once, then it will format the disk. See if that works.
That's exactly what I was trying: I boot the Floppy, let the setup create the partition, reboot and then nothing happens.
PS: I was using MS DOS 7.1 (CDU) Disk 1.
