Guys, what's the difference between the ET4000/W32I and W32P in terms of DOS and Win 3.11 ?
Thanks!

I don't think there is much difference. W32P just added pci bus support which didn't work too well. If they are both VLB cards there isn't really much difference as far as I know.

Thanks bro
Yes, I also heard about the PCI support, and then I found this ET4000/W32i online which is PCI!
So, I guess, if I wanna test the difference of this 486's motherboard's "local bus" which connects the mobo-integrated SVGA (W32i) against an ISA W32, to see if this "local bus" really is a thing, whether I get an ISA W32i or an ISA W32p there shouldn't be much difference, correct? Differences in performances should "isolate" the bus, being everything else the same.
Am I correct?
Thanks

To my knowledge there was no W32p on ISA bus. To check your integrated VGA performance, download SPEEDSYS or DRHARD. They both test the bandwidth of VGA bus in case you don't know what the integrated card uses.
There are some more differences between W32i / W32p as W32p is a bit faster in benchmarks.

oh WOOOW!!! That's exactly the kind of benchmark I needed! Thank you!!!
Is DrHard this one:

If not, where can I find it? Thank you!
I also see you have an Amibay account. I tried to create an account very hard, but it keep saying that I cannot have two accounts on Amibay. The problem is, I don't! No matter what username or email I use, it keep saying that and doesn't allow me to create the account. Any hint? Thanks!!!

Hi I am wondering why my ET4000/W32 does not have a Direct-Draw-Driver for Win95.
Though it does not support direct3d but I thought 2D acceleration would be possible?
If I want to install DirectX 3 in Win95a I get an "error -8" ?
