The shareware version was preloaded on our very first PC back in 1995
I liked it so much it was the first game I purchased for around $3.00, yer it was the shareware version again...Doh!
I still ended up buying the full version, still have both and the box which is in terrible condition.
It's still one of my I've got a quick 5 minute's games. Only now its hooked up to a SC55 so its kind of new again.
PS The manual told you about the backspace cheat, but not that pressing the 3 buttons on the bottom of the mission select screen enabled the random stuff. I figured that out by myself!
May I suggest that you create a single thread for your channel since you're lately updating the forum (all relevant forums actually...) about new videos?
I have the shareware (demo) version that came with the ES1869F drivers CD, and I bought the full game on Steam (yes, the DOS version) for my 486 machine. It's an amazing game.

I began with........the shareware beta leak long before the official 1.0 release 😳 and i had already realized the audiovisual similarities with Doom at the time
(basically the apogee theme was always the "easter egg intro" as they didn't make an apogee theme in MUS yet, the guy pilot doesn't have a beard (resembled closer to kyle maclachlan) and some portraits didn't recieve their scanlines, some songs are different and early and there's some scoring changes)
