Here's a quick question for a couple of sound cards I'm interested in. Which one would be better for my Packard Bell Pack-Mate 28 Plus?
1) Atrend ATC-6631 (YMF719 OPL3-SAx, SBPro2, Windows Sound System, OPL3, MPU-401 (and Wavetable header) compatible, and Gameport) with an optional IDE port (blank spots that require capacitors, resistors, IC chips, and the IDE port itself)
2) Packard Bell Plus 1150 Multimedia sound card (Aztech Sound Galaxy Nova 16 Extra FCC ID: I38-MMSN811), YMF262-M, WaveTable header/MPU-401 via the Gameport, Sony, Mitsumi, and Panasonic/Matsushita proprietary CD ROM controller (not IDE)
I have a Yamaha DB50XG Daughterboard and the Atrend ATC-6631 looks like I can add the daughterboard to the sound card without issues.
Which one do you prefer? Should I purchase both and see which one's the better candidate for my machine and put the other sound card in another machine?
