I have made a custom menu when booting Dos 6.21 and I would like to add a return to the previous menu but I dont know the correct way to do it, what I have is:

[MENU]
submenu=EMS, Start PC with EMS memory
submenu=NOEMS, Start PC without EMS memory
submenu=CONVENT, Start PC with Contentual memory only

[EMS]
submenu=1CTMOUSE, Start PC with CTMouse.EXE
submenu=1MOUSE, Start PC with Mouse.com
submenu=1BMOUSE, Start PC with BBBMouse.com
submenu=1NOMOUSE, Start PC without a Mouse
submenu=1BACK, Return

[1BACK]
goto [MENU]

I tried "goto [MENU]" and "[MENU]" to return to the start but I dont have the correct command

I don't think this is even possible, as there are no commands in config.sys. It's setting up the DOS environment only, which is why the only valid syntax for a line is "x=y".

You can use the backspace key to go back.

You can also use the obvious way of doing it 😀

[EMS]
...
submenu=MENU, Return

Thanks all but Azarien hit the nail on the head "submenu=MENU, Return" it works great!
