Maybe a bit off-topic, but does anyone now what exactly the EPROM described on this page (http://www.oldcrows.net/~patchell/mt32/mt32.html )
does ? 😕

I beleive it is necessary to allow the battery backed RAM modification on that page otherwise the MT-32 would clear the RAM each time it is started up.
