Hello!

I recently installed the Judgement Rites Collector's Edition CD in my DosBox environment.
It's the DosBox build from Xubuntu 18.04 repository. I could not find out, how to exactly determine what version this would be. However the config file is named 'dosbox-SVN.conf'. So it is some version built from DosBoxSVN.

The game is working so far, but it seems very delicate regarding the sound configuration. I can only use Soundblaster emulation.
But if I choose MT-32, the game won't even start. It will just hang with a black screen after the Interplay logo.
MT-32 is working fine in Monkey Island and some Demos I have installed.
I also applied the patch from Vogons (Re: Interplay - sound driver hacking).
But this didn't change anything. The game just stalled after the Interplay logo.
I then started trying different "Ports" for the MT-32 in the Interplay-Installer. With one port the game would at least start, but there was no music in game.
Sometimes even DosBox crashes completely at this point, so I have to force close it from my main OS.

Can you please help me with this issue? 😢
