Can you help us telling your hardware specs like motherboard, pci cards,etc?

I've just got it to work, I turned the ram speed off of Auto and set it to 133mhz and it worked. It's a Msi 7061 ver1.0 now the quest for drivers begins 😐 no pci cards (yet)

The quest for drivers has gone badly none of the drivers for the onboard sound work :'(

Which motherboard do you have?

I've got service pack 4 installed and I have tried those drivers. No luck 🙁

With another OS did you managed to get it working? it is enabled on the bios right? it is showing on device manager?

I've only tried it on Windows 2000 sp4 as that is the Os I want to use for this computer. It is set to auto on the motherboard (with the other option being off) It shows in device manager as working.

All the drivers say they are for w2k so I don't think there is a compatibility problem there, maybe the sound chip is just dead 🙁

I tested it with a soundblaster live from another pc and it works fine so I've now ordered another soundblaster for it 😀
