Using MUNT (roland Emulator) with a cross-over MIDI Cable?

Well, If MUNT Emulator is able to read external midi commands, I could connect mi Retro PC DB15 Midi connector to a "Munt Only" PC with also a DB15 midi connector. So I wouldn't need those DB15 to DIN adapters. Am I right? http://www.yio.com.ar/contenido.php?artid=23

The ttl out would have to cross over to the ttl input of the target PC.

That's my idea exactly. Maybe some opto-isolator as you can see in the pic's link.

Or a pulse transformer salvaged from a LAN card.
