Hi all,
I'm looking to buy some pieces of the motherboard's power connector, AT style. Searching on ebay for "at power connector" or "p8/p9 connector" didn't yield any results at all, which led me to think that maybe it's called something different?

I still call it the AT or P8/P9 connector. There are ATX 20 pin to AT 12 pin w/ -5VDC and Dummy Load (3.3VDC) adapters to use modern PSUs in older systems.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AT_(form_ ... _connector

The PSUs have 2 Molex 90331 ports (female) and the motherboard has 2 Molex 15-48-0106 connectors (male pins). Remember: with those power supplies, you need to make sure the ground wires on Pins P8.5-P8.6 and P9.1-P9.2) meet each other, otherwise, you'll have a bad time (shorting or frying the board).

Thank you but I'm interested in replacing a damaged motherboard connector, not use an ATX PSU with it.
The part/model number was something I didn't know but still I can't find where I can buy those

eBay has some (US sellers, unfortunately) as other companies, like Mouser, Digi-key, and many others don't have those any longer.

The shell is Molex part number 90331-0001. The pins are available in bag or reel form with several different plating types. I've included the official reference (if you want gold or bronze, for instance) linked below, but the tin plated contacts are part number 39-00-0342. Mouser has both of these parts in stock.

Is it on the motherboard or the PSU itself?

🙄 🙄

gdjacobs's post mentioning the original part number though led to the official replacement part from molex itself, which is thankfully still available in multiple places.
Here's a sample link from mouser, for anyone potentially interested (obviously 2x/motherboard are needed): https://mouser.com/ProductDetail/538-36642-0001
