Hi all.

Last week I found my favourite SoundCard from 1993-1999 in one of my storage boxes in the basement: A SoundBlaster 16 ASP MultiCD with an attached Roland SoundCanvas SCB-7.

Question: Is it somehow possible to get the ROMs from the Roland Card and use it with dosbox?

You can use the card directly, just install the relevant midi drivers and configure DOSBox to use that MIDI device.

It would be hard to get a SoundBlaster 16 MCD, which I think is an ISA card, working in a machine that is fast enough to also run DOSBox...

Unfortunately the best way would probably be to set up an older computer and connect the MIDI out of a new computer to the MIDI in of an old one with those boards and then set up a software passthru.
