I am using an S3 Virge DX. I havent tried different drivers...I think I am using whatever Win 95 installed right off the bat. I have TONs of games on the PC that all work, this is the last hold out really! I guess I could give it try though! I was also thinking about swapping to a different video card just to see. I installed Myst on my 98 machine and the game ran fine!

Weren't there two releases of Myst ? One for Windows 3.1/Mac and one for Win95 ?
I'm speaking under correction here, but maybe it helps installing the right version of QuickTime (16-Bit or 32-Bit QT ?)
or maybe it helps running it under Windows 3.11 with the copy of QuickTime it shipped with.
Another workaround would be using an ET4000 VGA card. Some version of QuickTime has support for it built-in.
I have tried using the QT files that come with the game, installing version 2.0 and version 2.03. All of which still crash the game. I will say that I can watch the movies and in general use QT when I install the 2.0 and 2.03 versions.

MPC = Multimedia PC. Its a gimmick from the 90s, but it shows up on the Myst box and I was using it to distinguish what version I was trying to use to install (my personal copy). Sorry for the confusion!
Thanks for the tips everyone! I will keep plugging away at it here and there because im just genuinely curious now!
