Hello,
im looking for Geforce 6600 GT /6800 pci-e cooler, i need 1 slot, because of other cards, i have lots of space behind and above card(s), but i cant use 2 slot coolers, card TDP is 48 or 40W i would use Geforce 6800 GT / GS or Ultra but TDP are even bigger 55-72 W, so it would need even better cooler.

I that era original coolers were probably worst in history, very small heatinks / fans with crazy rpm 3000-6000 and im not even sure, if these cards, have some 2d clock and some auto fan regulation independ on drivers (needed for multiboot).

The 1 slot requirement pretty much limits you to other brands coolers (assuming you can find one with similar PCB layout) or some Frankenstein DYI version.
You could probably get away with a semi-passive variant.
Remove the fan and the heatsink cover and use a fan blowing down on the card.

There's also the "reacharound" Zalman coolers (like the Zalman VNF100) but with all the PCB variants YMMV with that one.
And you would still probably need some airflow around the card to keep various components from bursting into flames.

And finally theres the swap-fan alternative.
You can find brand new fans in pretty much any size and speed, and fitting it should be easy.

Plenty of single-slot 6600GT out there.

And which one for pci-e is the most silent one?

Regardless i know the winner:

Question is if exist such cooler even standalone, or if exist some alternative.

In other words, you expected me to do the research for your project? Thanks, but I am quite busy these days. 😀

Its like that, nobody is forcing you read or posting in this thread, if you are posting in make sense dont post obvious things. I dont expect any research there are people who can post such info just using their memory..

I measured lots of my cards and it seems that coolers holes dimensions are quite unified - 53x23,43x43.53x53 mm. Of course on some cards are still problem with some capacitors and coil and other chips they are you using alternative cooler..
