Hello again.

Unfortunately, nothing very interesting here. I thought I'd try a few Aztech cards and started with a Waverider only to find out someone has tried to fix this card with a clothes iron instead of a soldering iron. The solder joints look pretty bad and one capacitor is missing entirely. So if anyone could help with the value of EC17, and maybe check the neighboring caps as well (currently EC15 and EC16 are 16V, 10µF and EC13 and EC14 are 50V, 1µF), that would be very much appreciated.

Card FCC ID is 138-MMSN852, for anyone who finds this thread 5 years from now on Google 😀

...Still (still) coming up: help me fix the CT3900

EDIT: Oh butts... The card seems to also be missing its voltage regulator entirely. Assuming a 7805-something? Well, this turned out to be a post-Easter project 😐

Here we go :

The attachment WaveRider.png is no longer available

5x 1µF 50V (for better sound quality thes should be replaced with 10µF parts instead)
7x 10µF 16V
1x 47µF 16V
2x 100µF 16V
2x 470µF 16V

Big voltage regulator is 7805 and the small transistor shaped one left of it is 79L05

Ah, thank you again.

I managed to get the thing working... atleast diagnose.exe produces digital and fm sound and the mpu works. Windows and games seem to be a little more troublesome.
