Hi,

I've just bought a Roland SC-55 (so sweeeet 😀), but I encounter slowdowns with Duke Nukem 3D.
I've tried original (v1.3d) and atomic edition (v1.5), there is no difference : I've got recurring slowdown which freeze game during 1s since I've exchange music card (Sound Blaster -> Sound Canvas).
I'm using a Sound Blaster CT2291 with a Celeron 333Mhz and 64 Mb of SD ram.

It seems that reducing screen resolution is reducing slowdowns.

What do you think about this ?

It's a bug with Creative sound cards and games based on the Build engine. Lower the sample rate of your sound card's digital output to 11 KHz in the game's setup menu

Thank you for moving.

By the way, I've tested 11 kHz samples and it works perfectly. With a faster CPU, would it be possible to increase PCM sample quality ?
