I wanted to start thinning my 90's video card herd. I wanted to benchmark the cards I have and keep the best card from each year. Any suggestions on benchmarks to use?

Here is a list of cards if anyone wants to comment on their experiences with them. Not sure if the Mach64 should be in 1995 or 1996. Not sure if one of the Tridents should be moved to 1995. Both the Diamond and the Orchid have the Power 9000 chip, but one is dated 1992 and the other is dated 1993.

1992
PCI Cirrus Logic 5432 (1992 BIOS)

1994
PCI Trident 9680-1 (1994)
PCI Trident 9680-1 (1994)
PCI Trident 9440-1 (1994, 1995 BIOS)
Matrox MGA Power Graphics (1994)

1995
PCI ATI MACH64 (1995, 1996 Sticker)

1996
PCI ATI MACH64 (1995, 1996 Sticker)

1997
PCI Creative Labs CT6610 Permedia 2 (1997)
PCI Diamond Viper v330 (Riva 128, 1997)

VLB
Orchid P9000 (1992)
Diamond Viper Power 9000 (1993)
Orchid Fahrenheit 1280 Plus (1993)
Cirrus Logic 5426 (1993 BIOS, 1994 Sticker)

Release dates and manufacturing dates are usually quite different. Not sure which way you'd want to go with that.

Pentium III @ 1.28Ghz - Intel SE440xBX-2 - 384MB PC100 - ATi Radeon DDR 64MB @ 200/186 - SB Live! 5.1 - Windows ME

Yeah I would usually go with the PCB date (easy to find) , but chip dates are just as good!
