I have this PCPartner board and an AMD K6-2/450AFX. I'm reading through the manual and the board seems to support the K6-2 but it doesn't seem to have a configuration for 450Mhz, the closest available configurations are for 475 and 500 mhz.

What cpu configuration would be best for my board/cpu combo?

Use 500.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.

In my opinion you can set the K6-2 450 as the K6-III 450, the only difference is the VCore which must be set to 2.2V, while the K6-III goes to 2.4V.
In the last pages of the manual you will find how to set up the VCore, you can even go down to 1.8V, if you find a K6 + you can easily set it.

AMD 286-16 287-10 4MB HD 45MB VGA 256KB
AMD 386DX-40 Intel 387 8MB HD 81MB VGA 256KB
Cyrix 486DLC-40 IIT387-40 8MB VGA 512KB
AMD 5X86-133 16MB VGA VLB CL5428 2MB and many others
AMD K62+ 550 SOYO 5EMA+ and many others
AST Pentium Pro 200 MHz L2 256KB
