Here's mine. no idea why the site rotated them. Click on them and they show uo just fine.

Also take over the kitchen table if I'm doing some maintenance or testing.

Thats really comfy, I like those CRTs especially. A lot of really cool rooms in this thread. I'm new here and this is my first post so I might as well upload a picture of my setup.

That setup also looks comfortable, I guess, having all those computers all together on that one desk. It looks simple, but effective.

775 STILL ALIVE

Simple, but useful.
Recycled parts of desk, cheap build.
This PC costs me ~140 Eur (600 PLN), with brand new CPU cooler and GPU.

So I recently moved and I finally wanted to get all of my computer stuff organized into one area to easily work on.
It was difficult finding a desk to do everything I wanted so I bought a table instead.

I really didn't want the computers on the floor but no way around so I put some plastic down.

Any ideas on improvements?
Was thinking of monitor arms but might be a waste of money if I get a bigger monitor. Currently the left is a 27" 2560x1440 and right is a 24" 1920x1200
Cables in the back need some cleanup.

The top of my desk looked much like yours (a bit cluttered) until I added a riser. It's a lifesaver.

Got the oak desk 30 years ago from some Scandinavian outlet. My dad made the riser from some black pine that I bought at a local home improvement store.

Monitor on the left is 24 inch and the one on the right is 18.5 inches. Middle monitor is an old Dell 17 inch 4x3 ratio model.

The real important thing for me is leg room. You guys both seem to have made sure to leave some room for that so thumbs-up from me. 😜 I see far too many pictures of people's desks at home with all kinds of stuff right where you legs would need to go if you were sitting in front of your monitors/keyboard which leaves me scratching me head wondering how anyone could enjoy sitting like that. *shrugs*

pjc2c6Om.jpg

Ample amounts of leg room, for when I'm using my Mac or retro PCs. Decent-ish amounts of clear desk space when needed, but frankly, I have always felt like I never can get enough clear space on my desk, regardless of the desk I am using and what I put on it (or don't put on it). One of the big improvements I found was getting the little glass shelf/riser that my CRT monitor is on. I can push the keyboard/mouse under there to free up some extra space up front. Made such a big difference for me.

I actually am thinking about getting some monitor arms myself. Both of the big monitors I use with my Mac are 27" 1440p and it would be really nice to be able to get rid of the monitor stands/bases for them.

I'm not going to show pictures of my cabling. 😜 It's a rats nest.

Ikea Galant tables are stronger than expected. Yes, there's an 18U rack with a rackmounted 1500VA UPS in it at one end. 🤣

I think there's at least 25 computers in this room. Only around 7 or 8 or so are running at all times though. 12 are hooked up at any given time. You can't see some of them, because they are ITX rigs or rackmounted. I usually only hook up 1 or 2 retro rigs at a time. I need to clean it up pretty bad.. it has gotten worse and worse over the past year. 😊 There's 10'w x 8'h x 4'd of closet space at the other end of the room you can't see that is completely full of stuff (organized) on shelves.

Heh, those servers you have 😎 Sometimes I think of having my own servers that I may use as web servers or something like that, but that might not ever happen because having a server can be pretty expensive 😜
