Hi guys, I've got a v3800/32m (TV) and I'm not sure what it is. Is it a tnt2 m64, or something better like a tnt2 ultra? I've searched around and I can't get a definitive answer. Cheers!

Also, I've got a v3800/32m (tf). If anyone knows what that is as well I'd appreciate it 😀

It may be the 'regular' version = in between the Ultra and the m64. See attached

The attachment v3800-104.pdf is no longer available

It is quite popular here in Italy, it is the TNT2 or the TNT2 PRO, no way of knowing which one until you see the frequency on Gpu-Z.

Eight 5.5-6 ns SGRAM chips = TNT2 Pro
Eight 5 ns memory SGRAM or SDRAM chips + Ultra label on VGA output = TNT2 Ultra
Eight 7 ns memory SGRAM or SDRAM chips = TNT2

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.

I have seen these cards with an Ultra label on the chip and with an ultra sticker on the card with 5,5ns (the ones i've kept are 5ns tough). I have a PRO with 6ns.

I have questions about this card. I have ASUS V-3800 (tv) 32 sgram. Sticker on the vga port says TNT2, so did memory clock 125 mhz (Lavalys software in win98 and winxp) RAM chips are 5ns! Sign on GPU says its a ULTRA?!?
What the heck is it?

Sounds like an Ultra with non-Ultra BIOS. Given the sticker that likely happened in factory. Could be a case of binning - maybe the card didn't pass QA at Ultra speeds, or maybe too many cards passed and commercially more non-Ultras were needed. Clock back up to Ultra speeds, run some stress tests and find out which it was.
