Boards have arrived:
Boards have arrived:
The first board is ready for testing!
There was just one minor problem: I ordered flip-flops that don't match the footprint on the board and had to solder that thing on in SOJ-style.
The Ne558 is NOS. It should be possible to use two NE556, instead, but since this board needs vintage parts, anyway, I didn't care about that.
This should be roughly equivalent to an NE558:
Looks good 😀

Well... the card works!
... but I didn't see this problem coming:
I can only assume that the original card would have caused the same problem in this machine, but it's still a bit disappointing.
Hi Benedikt,
RK097G Pot will fit on your Board, there is also Mono Version.
it has optimal height to fit.
And for the Audiojack, i also tend to use the flat ones but they will not fit all cases, so the ones used on SB128 are perfect.

Thanks for the hint! I'll definitely give the RK097 pots a try.
Card number two. This looks much better, indeed:
I'll leave the testing for tomorrow.
That's a Keystone 9200-3 DA15 bracket with additional 8mm and 7mm holes.
I had to shift the DA15 socket by a few mm to make the bracket fit, but it certainly makes things a lot easier.
And it fits and works!
The card sounds a bit noisy with headphones when set to an appropriately low volume, but the background noise does not seem to get louder when you turn the volume up.

Very nice! Is there a parts list available?

KiCad can generate a parts list for you, albeit without specific part numbers, because I did not specify any.
Also note that the PCB layout still contains some minor errors/insufficiencies that I never corrected, because I do not plan to build another batch.
