Help, VDMSound Hardware Compatibility Problems

For some reason VDMSound does not work at all for my IBM Thinkpad laptops but work for my desktops. I figure there are probably some compatibility problems with laptop video cards or sound cards. Does anyone know a solution to it?

Yes, all windows programs work perfectly on my laptop. Right now my laptop is using Radeon ATI X300 Mobility, 64 MB video memory.
