How do I buy activate Windows XP in 2020?

Right so, I tried the piracy way and I just can't make it work. XP keeps nagging me about activation with countdowns I reset and everything else. I ONLY pirated XP when I actually used it as my mainline Windows OS but I apparently am not smart enough to make that work now.

...So how, if I even can, buy a real honest to god XP key and then activate it here in the apocalyptic future times of 2020? All my Win10 machines are legit, what's it take to be legit on XP?

You can probably find new old-stock copies of XP on ebay. In fact I know you can. Same with 7. I am not aware that MS has turned off activation for any of it's OSs that required it.

I think you just have to keep hammering the activation server. Don't be discouraged when your first attempt fails. It will work eventually. (At least this worked for Server 2003 and Office 2003 last time I installed them.)

Is this too much voodoo?
