I'm having a problem with Terminator 2 - The Arcade Game. When I try to run the game executable it exits and states a 'not enough memory' error. Is there any way to increase memory use in dosbox ?

Thanks to all those who can help !

Maybe try loadfix.

Doesn't work - I read that turning off XMS should help, but then it won't go further. Just sits there.

Yep 😜 works a treat - no way I'd have discovered this since I didn't even know the "max" value existed.

Well it's documented 😀 (at least i think that...)

The game needs an xms interface (they blindly jump to the address
they get from the int2f-interface, thus crashing if no xms driver is
loaded) and require some 0xc000 bytes of UMB memory (they have
an explicit check for this, no way around this). dosbox only provides
that much UMBs when the ems-segment is free.

With this in mind, the readme of the game is quite interesting to read btw.

Hm don't remember, but try it with the cycles set pretty low.
