Looking for the restore disk for a just accquired Deskpro 2000 Pentium II, Presario 5360 and Presario 7585 anyone got these?

if so just change the .TXT to .EXE to download the matching Softpaq...I'm sure the others are available too.
How do you browse and make sense of the softpaq, they use so numbers but none of the systems day sp

It’s a large, slow download. Pull it down once then search it to find what you’re looking for.
Note that these are setup and diag disks only, they are not for recovery.
I usually find the easiest way to pinpoint the files is thru the model-specific Compaq support pages on archive.org which gives you the SoftPaq SP numbers then just hunt these down online, either on the various HP ftp servers or the multiple archived mirrors.
Maybe more info on specific model nos / issues would help know if its SoftPaqs or something like the deployment / software support CD which are needed.
