Hi guys,
Recently I purchased a Microsolutions Backpack (model 195200 Series 6 driver) CD-RW drive that came with the power supply, but no parallel (LPT) cable. I've tried using one of my ZIP100 cables, but the DOS driver cannot find the drive. I've also tried using, what I believe is, a crossover M/F cable - no luck either. I also have three other DB25 cables, all M/M, but haven't tested to see if they are all straight-through or crossovers yet. Does anyone know if these Backpack drives require a proprietary cable, or would a standard crossover or straight-through DB25 cable work?
Thanks.
