FPS=3 (instead of 30) in the big room with the 4 switches of the greek guys 🙁

no problem in v1.18.

I wonder if its the mipmapping problem. From the menu ring, go to the sun glasses and check that mipmapping is off.

People have been saying that since v1.19 enabling mipmapping in TR1's menu slows everything down. It doesn't matter because
the internal mipmapping setting has no effect on graphics quality, so it is fine to turn it off (provided someone tells you that's the cure).

Anyway, I've just found the cause. It was a bug of mine that Fabio half fixed. It didn't cause a slow down when broken and it doesn't now its fixed, but when half-fixed it caused masses of texture regeneration, because the textures seemed to overlap as far as the caching database was concerned... hmm that's probably more than you wanted to know. 😁
