This is a quick and dirty program I wrote to set the CPU speed of my NuXT v2.0 motherboard, which is handy to use in a batch file before running certain programs. It does absolutely no error check to see what kind of motherboard it is running on. Simply type SETSPEED with 4, 7, or 9 as the parameter. This based on the code from the Micro 8088 BIOS source code on GitHub. ASM source is included.

SETSPEED 4 - 4.77MHz
SETSPEED 7 - 7.16MHz
SETSPEED 9 - 9.55MHz

I got confirmation from a user on the Vintage Computer Federation forum that it is working with his NuXT as well as his Micro 8088 system.

Sorry to Necrobump, but this is for helping future searchers...

I have Faraday Micro PC (uses the 2010A) and is an XT SBC with an NEC V20 cpu.. This SETSPEED utility works great, with verifiable speed performance increase at each of the given speeds, fantastic! thankyou!

XT, 286, 386, 486, P200mmx, P3, P4, all the voodoos.
